This is a rich study. So much happening that I get lost easily.
I think you need to decide on an audience and vastly trim the piece to its core. I would start with two simple tests
1) What’s the tagline (one-sentence description)
2) Can you summarize the themes in a page
Band of Bros and Storm on the Horizon are traditional linear narratives. But Lima is a different breed, i think.
